QLD Posting Photos of Employees on Social Media Without Consent?

When working for a government agency and said agency has a dedicated social media site, ie : Facebook, can the agency post photo/s of employees in a work environment on the site without verbal or written consent?

There is no general right not to be photographed,
and no right of privacy of the kind you might think would apply here.

They are not however entitled to embarrass or humiliate you,
or expose you to risk.

I have been informed there is a dedicated legal and ethical standards unit in govt so will approach for further information and hopefully can tighten up any perceived shortcomings in social media / personal issues.
