SA What is the Maximum Penalty of Criminal Defamation?

What is the maximum penalty if there are multiple counts of criminal defamation in South Australia? Is the maximum penalty multiplied? Then there could be a life sentence because of criminal defamation.

I believe the maximum penalty is 3 years imprisonment, so it would take a lot of counts to make up a life sentence.

And, I agree with @Sophea - it is conceivable that enough sentences of three years
(even if they maxxed out, which is relatively rare) would be imposed consecutively,
so as to amount to life.
