VIC Video Store Fees - Do I Have to Pay?

My local video store is claiming that I haven't returned some DVD's that I hired. I hired 5 and they claim I only returned some of them, not all of them. I definitely returned them all. They have sent me a bill for $12 and if I don't pay it within 21 days they will refer it to their debt collectors. What legal rights do I have? Am I bound to pay up?

You can speak with VCAT about the matter. $12 is not an amount worth pursuing legal action over.
