Hi,

Can you secretly record a conversation, then use it as evidence in a criminal case to prove fault?

Evidence that is lawfully obtained is admissible. In Victoria you are allowed to (secretly) record a conversation if you are a party to it.

No different. As long as you are a party to the (group) conversation.
