I work for SA Public Sector and I have been suspended without pay for misconduct, apparently because I have bail restrictions? Can they do this under employment law? I am using my annual leave and soon will have no money. Can I get an unemployment benefit until they make a decision on my future?

An employer generally has no right to suspend you without pay unless authorised under a industrial instrument or a statutory authority.
