Our neighbour damaged the boundary retaining wall when doing subdivision. We asked them to repair it but they got a structural engineers report saying that the retaining wall was not designed and constructed properly. The retaining wall stands there for 40 to 50 years already without any problems.
They demolished the swimming pool which was very close to the retaining wall and compacted the land. They also removed big palm trees which were very close to the retaining wall. There are a lot of tree roots and marks of salt water from the pool on the wall.
Could anyone please help and let us know what to do?
