our neighbour has demolished their house and garage, the wall of the garage was serving as a boundary fence between us. It is currently propped up with struts, my question is who is responsible for paying for a fence to go there? If it is them as they have demolished the wall, do they have to replace it like it was. As in with a stucco rendered finish? Thanks

Boundaries are a joint responsibility, and while one side can pay the full cost (say a garage wall), generally a replacement starts at the beginning again and a standard fence is shared 50/50. I can't see them being responsible to replace a wall with a wall unless there is some unusual or non-standard permit requirement.
