My rental real estate agents advise that any payment made by tenant (paid on 29/08/2014) after they had run the owner pay out report (print on 29/08/2014) will be paid on next month. is this correct? as I would think is still within month of August and they should have included that week of rent into the monthly statement as well as paying me for that amount received.

You need to read your agent agreement. They may be correct in what they state. If the delayed payment concerns you so much and you can't let get of this issue, you can change agents as per your agreement (whatever that says).

You do however need to consider the overall value this agent brings to your investment. Able to quickly find good tenants will far outweigh a delay on payment received.
