Me and a friend involved. Do we have to tax on income from online affiliate marketing programs?Possibly considering creating a partnership agreement and getting an ABN. We do not work for anyone, we have no employer. All our sales and purchases have been dated and logged.

Thanks in advance.

You have to declare all income to the tax office and yes, you will probably have to pay tax on the affiliate marketing income (unless you are below the tax free threshold).
Additionally, if you are working as an independent contractor, you may have to pay GST. I'm pretty sure the first $70,000 gross per financial year is GST free.

How have you been paid so far? Most principals require contractors to provide an ABN (unless you have been engaged by companies overseas).
