QLD Need to be Separated Another 12 Months for Divorce?

Hi all,

In 2015, my husband and I were going to get a divorce and were separated for 12 months. However, at the end of the 12 months, we got back together.

We were together for a year but things didn't work out and would like to get a divorce again.

Do I need to separate for another 12 months before filing a divorce?

Hi,

More than likely, yes. You would need to have another 12 months of separation. Basically because in the past 12 months it would be hard to prove the separation because you were obviously back together.
