NSW Lying Private Seller of Car - Refund Under Australian Consumer Law?

I purchased a car from a private seller who told me lies and deceived me. He used his business address to sell the car, which is a rental car business. He did not mention this but pretended it was a friend's business. Am I able to get money back from him under Australian Consumer Law? I am a disabled pensioner.

Please, help me.

Len, without more. Don't think from what you've said there is a right to a refund.

Such a right may arise if the car is not of merchantable quality, not fit for purpose, mis-described, etc. Probably not from the facts as you have quoted.
