Can shares in a pty ltd company held as 'joint members' with one other person be bequeathed as inheritance in a will to someone other than the other 'joint member'?

Hi MEM,

Generally, with all forms of jointly owned property - it automatically passes to the remaining owner and therefore is not the deceased joint owner's property to bequeath to someone else upon their death.
