Inclusions in Contract of Sale

Hi, Has anyone come across a clause in the contract of sale that refers to a split of commission between two agents?? I thought this was sorted out by the primary agent after the sale. I don’t think it should have been included in the contract of sale… am I right?

Not unheard of. There's a fair few instances of sole/exclusive agents being cut out of commission, causing disputes with sellers and claims for commission. Having both in the contract gets around that by specifying who is getting paid what. Sorting it out 'after' makes it all too prone to argument.
