Can I suggest that new/ recently joined users be moderated for their first one or two* posts?

I have no problem with the (merely?) angry and/or distressed.
But early-days moderation may help filter out the the sovereign citizens/ Freemen On The Land,
the Men's Rights ranters, the conspiracy theorists/ world government/ tin foil hat brigade,
the non-specific nutters, and above all, the parasite debt collectors, agents, brokers etc, and other commercial operators
that are not law firms.

-------------------------------------
* There are some users who should be on permanent moderation...
but that's not my editorial call.

Tim W. I find your sledge hammer approach entertaining but it does suggest that you might be slightly heavy handed with the policing.
Besides, isn't rebutting such people one of your joys in life? 😉

Been getting banner adverts that are taking up about 75% of the desktop screen. Not sure what has changed recently.
Really annoying when the content is barely visible...

A paid subscription version would be good, that can help fund the suite, remove ads and encourage more discussion etc

I think the quality of the forums would be improved by archiving posts / responses that are older than two weeks....

Get rid of all the damn popup ads. There's so many you can barely navigate the thread.

I liked the previous format better. Perhaps we could return to that.
