WA How to Make Employer Pay for Car Damages?

My stationary parked car was hit by a work colleague driving the work van. The employer has refused to pay for the damages under the notion that I don't have car insurance and that they only deal with car insurance companies. Can someone please offer some suggestions on how to make them pay?

The employer is talking bollocks.

Write them a Letter of Demand, and then, when they either reject it, or simply ignore you, get formal legal advice.

Be aware - don't pick a fight if you don't have the bottle.
