VIC How to Get in Touch with Executor of Will?

My son's dad died and the executor of will has contacted us once, asking what he would like to keep of his dads. We have tried many times to call, text and message and got no response. We need to get in touch with the executor to obtain my son's dad's war medals from the deceased mother. What should we do?
