My mother wants to leave her share of the house that I own with her to my children , her three grandchildren who are minors.

How does she do this?

Can I be appointed trustee for them until they are 18?

The standard way is that your mother makes a will, appoints an executor(s), and leaves the share of the house to the grandchildren. The standard age they can take the land is 18, but your mother can make it a higher age if she wants. The executor holds the estate in trust until they reach the desired age,and the share is then tranferred to them In the manner set out in the will.
