You need to be very careful here. If you give her any information about how much the male is earning, then depending on how you obtained that information, you could find yourself in a lot of trouble. It would probably be in your best interests to stay out of it.
They were exactly my thoughts too.... draziw... If you are in a position of having access to privileged information such as wages, you risk your own job, potentially career by divulging it to a third party (except for a person with authority properly acting in their role of course)

Aware of the confidentiality and obviously I'm not divulging any information to any party, even my husband who is the only person I've talked about this with so far.
