I was defamed by someone who left me a very bad defamatory comment on my google page. This happened last year in February 2022. I filed in a US court to subpoena on google to give me the account details of the publisher. However, I did that in December 2022 as I took some time to find a lawyer here in QLD, and subsequently find a lawyer in US to file the subpoena etc. I do have the IP address of the publisher. However, I am aware of the time limitation for defamation being 12 months from the date of the publication and/or date I was aware of the publication. Do I have a case if I submit to the court for extension of time limitation?

Possibly. File a summons and affidavit seeking leave to extend the time. Best done now before you spend a lot more money on legal fees and then have the case thrown out for being out of time.
