NSW Fences Issue - Ask Neighbour to Rebuild?

Hi, my neighbour has built a new fence without issuing us any notice in writing or in person but we believe the fence has passed the 'common' land and is about half a brick into our area.

Am I allowed under property law to ask them to rebuild that fence so that it doesn't enter what we believe to be our land?

Yes. Or maybe they might want to pay $x for a license to rent your land or even buy it from you.

You have a right to have structures and buildings removed from your land.
