Although I haven't been personally involved in the family law system for some years now... my advice is be careful of 'Mr popular big name law firm & associates' when you may finish up paying Mr popular lawyers fees & charges but may actually be getting one of a half dozen or so of Mr poplar's juniors learning the ropes...
Shop around, take up the first free consult that many offer, don't go looking for, or fall for, being promised what you want to hear, (so have at least some idea of what your case may involve & likely outcome before seeing anybody).... Ultimately go with the one that has given you some confidence they know what they are talking about & can guarantee you good communication throughout..
