De Facto Relationship - Am I Entitled to the House?

    I was in a 4 year de facto relationship, but not living together. While we were in this de facto relationship I saw him twice a week sometimes more in that time. He also bought property that is a house. Am I entitled to anything at now? Thank you.

    Hi Carol,
    I think as a de facto, you may have an argument - say if you contributed to payments for the house, or made substantial homemaker contributions while at the house, but have a look at the following pages, which provide guidance and information relating to your question:
