I was stood down when Covid became an issue in March 2020.

I had been employed as a full-time employee for a period of approximately 9 months.

My ex employer has not paid my annual leave owing and never contacted me back.

I've sent a few emails with no response.

What can I do from here to be paid for my accrued leave?

Write a demand letter and send via registered post. Give then 14 days to pay, if not paid, see a lawyer.

Have you actually been terminated?

No
Haven't heard back from my boss.

No termination certificate, no paper work, no communication.

They have even hired someone else.

The last communication was that I was being stood down.

I've heard they have hired someone.

I've found new employment and working full time.

I want to be paid what I'm owed.

The owner doesn't call me or try and negotiate.

I'm stuck between rock and hard place.
