It seems that a caravan is covered under the Australian Consumer Law. Have a look at the "Motor vehicle sales and repairs: An industry guide to the Australian Consumer Law" for more information. Also, the definition of a "motor vehicle" in section 5 of the Road Traffic Act 1974 (WA) includes caravans.
