Hi,
I received a fine for parking as I didn't realise they has sensors in the concrete, and thought I could just roll my car out and in again!!!
Anyway, the officer wrote notes on my fine into her computer saying that it may have been a wrongfully issued fine. She told me to write a letter and appeal.

So I wrote a letter, received an acknowledgment but that was now 2 months ago.

Is there a time period when exceeded makes my fine invalid?
any other advice about how to get out of this fine?! (Yes, of course I could just pay it)
Thanks!

Hi Mike,
The City of Monash advises:
The process can take up to 90 days. Do not pay the fine in this time. You should phone us on 9518 3555 to check we have received your letter. Upon final review of your application, we will contact you with our decision.

So they still have a month. I would hang tight and if you don't hear anything after 90 days you could explore your options.
