I also received an offer for a refund yesterday myself. Haven’t heard anything else yet though.

Can confirm was offered a refund, too. Seems like they’re taking a big hit.

I purchased tickets over a year ago. Ticketmaster were sold out and I was told TicketBlaster might have tickets. The sold me 3 tickets at $400 each, it was my sons birthday present and he was so excited that his fans were coming out to play. As a single mother with no support from their biological father, he always wanted to go to the states to watch a nba game but this was the closest thing. With the money I paid a year ago I would have been better saving my money and taking him to the states. TicketBlaster apparently aren’t a registered business I’m unable to get an address to post our legal papers and feel gutted for my boys who no longer want to go. Can anyone help as to where I can get an address. I’ve gone to asic with no success.

Hi, those of you who have received refunds or offers to refund... just checking whether you sent the refund requests to Ticketmaster or TEG Live? And what's the email address to be used?

    Hey Guys
I bought tickets in March 2018. I sent an email to TEGLive requesting a refund and they replied that they were not going to refund us the money because when I bought the tickets in 2018 they hadn't advertised any players yet. Can they do that? Obviously I bought the tickets because they said Team USA you would think all the famous people would come.

I believe the ACCC is now looking into both the advertised players issue as well as the seating issues.

I recommend that anyone who has experienced one of those issues contact the ACCC directly to find out if your situation is covered by their current investigations. You can call the ACCC Infocentre on 1300 302 502 (Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5.30pm AEST/AEDT).

If you a different issue and wish to file a separate complaint with the ACCC, you can do that online here: ACCC - Report a Consumer Issue
