VIC Acts that affect a Topic

Hi All,

Was recently doing some research on a particular topic and came to realise there are multiple Acts and regulation that affect the functioning of said topic.
I am keeping my question very generic in understanding how to determine what Acts/Regulations/others influence a particular topic ?

This is purely for academic reasons

The respondent/defendant then plays on that battlefield, or counterclaims and introduces a second a battlefield where both parties fight.
