Hi - 33 days until an intervention order ends... can my wife just walk into a court and get an extension if she feels like it? Or does she need fresh reasons/incidents?

I haven't seen her in months, and am sticking to my three Facetime calls a week with the kids... walking on egg shells as I get the ball rolling in terms of lawyers etc.

Think I'm on the brink of a new job as well which will be great news when it happens.

YES - BUT... once the 33 days expire don't start sending text messages or calling. A police officer will be quick to believe that you've just waited for the AVO to expire before resuming harassment. Easy story to spin....

Not intending to do that mate - was just curious. It’s just one less thing to worry about
