I am planning on starting a private labelling and manufacturing business as a minor. This is an ecommerce business so what will happen is:
I will reach out to chinese suppliers and agents and work with them to manufacture the custom product with the brand name and logo and also any necessary labels that need to be on it(E.g Health label)
Batches of the product will be sent to a 3pl warehouse (E.g Startrack Australia Post)
Customers will buy the products and it will be shipped to their house.
I know I will have to buy a domain name for my brand. Will I have to buy anything else like a trademark from the get-go or can I save that for when I expand the business? Is there any other laws that I need to be aware of?
This is going to be a sole trader business at the start but if it grows It will be a pty ltd.
