ACT School calling home

I am a student at a public high school in the ACT and an issue happened with a online setting months ago. Are my teacher aloud without my consent or without my permission to call home. The issue that they would call about is about nudes getting leaked. May i please have some advice. Thanks

Yes, they are allowed.
In fact, they probably have a duty to do so.
