Hi, we've just bought a house. The real estate agent is now using the sale in their marketing information; we sold this house for this amount etc.... Are real estate agents legally allowed to do this without our permission?
Its would probably be courteous of them to ask your permission first, but I can't think of any legal principle that would render it illegal. Sale price of a property is not confidential information.
