Hello,
I'm in Perth.
I'm currently purchasing a new home, but the real estate agent selling the home has told me that 2 items are not working on the house.
1. There is a pool light that is not working
2. There is a Solar Hotwater System that is on the roof, but is apparently disconnected and a gas HWS is used instead, so I don't even know if it works? I assume it doesn't because why disconnect otherwise?
My question is, under Property Law, do these need to be fixed by the seller before selling the property? Neither are stated on the Offer and Acceptance paperwork or on the contract of sale.
