Asking for someone else seriously.

He was driving along the highway when suddenly stopped by 3 paddy wagons. Immediately he was pulled from his car, handcuffed and told he's under arrest under misuse of drug act. He was then searched, clothes on, by the side of the highway. Nothing found so he was told he was being taken to police station, several hours away, to be strip searched. His car was searched on side of highway. Nothing found.
At this point is everything done properly?

Strip search. Nothing found. Asked to call his partner as she was expecting him ages ago and would be worried. He was told he had the right to make a call but they were withholding that right. He was told he can watch his car being searched again if he wanted. Approximately 12 hours later he was released. Evidence tape across where the front and back doors meet, none where the back doors open. Removing the tape has done some damage to the area it was placed over. Except for a phone, Nothing was found or taken.
He's been left wondering what the hell that was all about but has been told nothing. When asking the sergeant he was told," you will never know".
Wtf is with the cops, they can do whatever they want whenever they want and don't dare question anything?

3 cage trucks to do a vehicle stop does not sound like a coincidence.
Sounds more like he was a target.

Whether or not he was correctly targeted... well, that is more an operational policing question
than a question of, say, unlawful stop and search.

Cops don't conspire at complete random against cleanskin private citizens.
Your "other person" (your son, as in earlier posts?) might benefit from wondering
which of his supposed friends sold him out, dogged him , or out and out lied to police
about him and/or his vehicle.

Looking back at your previous posts, I agree with @Rod .
Your other person - him, not you - needs case specific legal advice.
Yes, fees will be payable for that advice.
