I had bought a townhouse off the plan 8 months ago however a month back I came to know that vendor (A) had resold the project to new vendor (B). Vendor B says that before selling property to him Vendor A had nominated project to Vendor C. Now problem is that current vendor is saying he doesn't have any binding on previous vendor's contract and looking for 10% more money otherwise asking me to take my deposit back.
I had purchased this property on last year's price and it has appreciated 100K as of now. Is vendor allowed to sell the property after entering in contract? He didn't even legally informed my conveyancer or me that project is sold and status of my original contract. what can I do in this situation?
