Im a tenant and so is my neighbour. I’m in a house so is he. His back door slams very loud , and is in front of my bedroom. I’m gonna ask his landlord to spend some money putting pads on the door. If he refuses, do you take his landlord to nsw fair trading, like in strata apartments? Or is that not the case in house vs house dispute? And I have to take matter to local court? Issue is about $350-$500 in costs to make door close quiter(no door slams).
