The guy I was living with in a two bedrbed apartment didndi put me on tge leaseland i move a few months later. The floor was already staid and in bad form when I moved in but when i moved i made a few extra stains. Now he's threatening me with damages. What are my league rights as i wasn't actactua on the lease?

He's right in that having made some of the new stains,
you should contribute to the cleaning.
That your name is not on the lease is not really relevant.
Wait for an amount. Then offer him half of that,
and negotiate from there.
