Needing suggestions on where to get free legal advice on custody of children / access family law matter when other party has already gone to Legal Aid Victoria, so Legal Aid say they can't help. Can't afford a private solicitor :(

Generally (at least in Victoria) Legal Aid outsources work to private solicitors, paying them on a 'stage of matter' basis to conduct the work. There is no conflict of interest in this situation as the 'in house' legal aid lawyers do not have access to any information or files conducted by the private law firm.
