In regard to a current civil suit, the defendant has produced a photocopy of an email during disclosure that has clearly been doctored. The defence is now distancing themselves from any documentation outside of the contractual argument.
My question is, will this attempt to mislead remain relevant at trial or can it simply be called irrelevant?
