I have evidence from the company 's webinar to show my confidential information is used in their product.

I don't think preliminary discovery can provide any more information on the matter. Can I go to court directly?

Do you mean preliminary discovery?

There're two uses: to find out who to sue if you think you can sue but you don't know the identity, and to find out if you actually have a case against someone you know who they are.

You reckon you have the evidence re the IP and you know who they are so probably not.

But are you sure about the IP issue?

They used your confidential information? How did they get it? Or did they come up with it on their own? Do you have any registered right to fall back on? Could get tricky

I exposed it during the talk of commercialization which lasted one and half year
Did you have a confidentiality agreement?

No, their lawyer has no problem to consider it as confidential information due to the nature of the talk.
