My ex and I own a house together as joint tenants. I have moved out. Does he have to pay rent to me for my half of the property?

And even more fun... If you have a mortgage you're still responsible for paying half.

If OP is a guarantor on a property loan she may be liable for paying the lot if he has no assets/income and stops paying.
