So if I wanted to import a copy of a work that is public domain in one country, but still protected by copyright in Australia, is this legal? I should not the context is for personal use.
Article 16 of the Berne Convention speaks on this, but I'm not sure how it relates to Australian copyright law, since in reading the Australian Copyright Act it didn't seem to me to integrate the provisions of Article 16, and made it seem perfectly legal.
