I've noticed that rectangular trampolines are often recommended for older kids and anyone interested in practicing gymnastics. For those who've tried both shapes, is the more consistent bounce noticeably better for practicing jumps and landing accurately?

I know this thread is a bit old, but I wanted to jump in. I’ve trained on both round and rectangular trampolines. Rectangular ones give a much more predictable bounce because the springs are even across the whole mat. That really helps with landing accuracy for flips and jumps. Anyone else find the round ones too bouncy in the center?

I’ve been using a rectangular trampoline from Trampoline Warehouse and the bounce is noticeably more consistent for landing practice. Their rectangular trampoline keeps the rebound centered, which really helps with accuracy. The setup was easy, and the safety enclosure is a solid bonus.
