Like a few other questions on this forum I have a question about who is responsible for repairing a retaining wall. I have attached our Group Title Plan (Standard Format Plan) with the location of the rock wall highlighted. The difference here is that this rock wall is entirely within common property in our GTP, there are no exclusive use rights, and lets assume that it is also entirely within out GTP (not within the neighboring property).

Just to clarify, this rock wall is not between our lot and common property; it is entirely on common property and adjacent to the next house in the street.

I'm really hoping this is a no brainier.

Yup, from what you’ve said it is a no brainer. The body corporate is responsible.
