On the 7th of September I plead guilty with an offence plus breach of probation and fined. In early may when the police turned up with a search warrant they took my tablet and laptop. My solicitor told me that I need to seek the return of property as I'm not his client any any more and I should get it back as there was no application for forfeiture. After trying several times to get in touch with the officer she told me I need to wait 28 days before it can be returned. It will be 28 days on the 5th of October.
How do I approach requesting the return of my devices and is there a time limit they have to return them?
Thanks
