Hi

I am a member of a golf club. A new board has decided to make some changes which I think are illegal in the sense that a member in a category of membership (lets calls it Silver) is being discriminated against another member.

Previously, we used to have hot water and coffee/tea setup for a DYI coffee/tea provided by the club. The setup used to be there till 10:30AM. This has been now changed so this facility is closed at 6:30AM and after that we are forced to buy coffee. Members who play early get free coffee but those of us who cant play early have to pay. We are 8 of us who are now older and slower players so we have decided to play later so faster players are not held up but this means that we have to pay. While this may sound trivial, we are all pensioners and not rich. It is unfairness that is unacceptable.

Does any one know what not for profit sports club are allowed to do or not do? Thanks in advance.
