In order to wind up an intestate estate, I have had to join with my brother in obtaining LoAs. He has blatantly lied regarding his place of residence. While this may be of little consequence, it does mean he has made a false declaration to the High Court. What would be the likely penalties if he's discovered?

Perhaps he has lied to the Supreme Court rather than the High Court?
It's is very unusual indeed for the High Court to be involved in a disputed estate matter.

Semantics aside, surely knowingly lying to the Supreme court carries some penalty, at least being removed os an administrator?

Depends. What can you prove?
And if you have enough evidence,
are you someone who can bring an action - which really means "afford to lose one" - on this basis?
