VIC How to Transfer Mortgage and Title to Husband's Name?

Hi,
If I want to transfer a property to my husband (title and mortgage), should this be done as 1-step or 2-steps:

1. Add husband to title and mortgage
2. Remove my name from title and mortgage

If it takes 2 steps, is there a minimum waiting period between steps under property law?

My husband and I are not separating so the property is not part of a settlement.

Hi there,

You can transfer the title of your property to your husband in one transaction however you will need to speak with the mortgagee bank first and get their approval.
