In 2016, I was having an argument with my sister and it got out of hand. I slammed a door and it hit her in the head. My neighbour called the police. I was 18 and she was 17. I got arrested and the judge gave me 2 years good behaviour and community service.

I had never been in trouble before and have not since. I want to get a better job but it showed up on my national police check I applied for myself. Can I do anything to get it removed?

Nothing i'm afraid, you usually need to apply at the time you were convicted. It usually stops showing after 10 years (or there abouts). As a side note, most employers won't hold it against you, just explain the situation. Any employer that does hold it against you without considering the circumstances wouldn't be worth working for in my opinion.
