Being a permanent night shift worker, does the 30% shift rate get paid while on annual leave?

The fair work award states that the all allowances and penalties above awards, wages gets paid as if not on annual leave.

Hi,

Fair Work Australia also says annual leave is paid at base rate and does not include allowances. It might be worth getting hold of your employment contract. Shift workers are supposed to get 5 weeks annual leave instead of the standard 4.

Your employment contract might also discuss for leave loading and paying annual leave at the shift rate.
