I own a part share in a company that has three shareholders in total. However one of the shareholders which own the majority share (51%), whereas myself and the third shareholder each own 24.5% of the remaining shares are both registered as the directors of this company.

This company owns both brick & mortar stores as well as online retail stores. I’m considering of breaking off from this company and start my own. However, I also want to use the trading name of its retail store (since I had put in so much effort into this business). Is it possible for me to own just the online portion of the business and relinquish my share of the brick and mortar stores if it’s agreeable to the other two shareholders? Is it possible for me to trade online using the existing retail trading name and have nothing to do with the actual physical stores trading under the same name?
